Class Announcements
update on rotation
A change in rotation - Mr. Nine's clases will be going to Mr. Soukenik's classs.
class quarterly rotation
Mr. Nine's classes will change to Ms. Morales on Wednesday, November 4, 3009.  Mr. Nine will receive Mr. Pino's classes fro the next quarter.  The November 4th classes will undergo a full orientation before starting computer applications.
Progress
Most students are starting their third rotation this week, and the goal is five rotations.  The grades are improving as indicated by the interim report.  Students explore exciting careers that lead to technical jobs here in Prince William County.  Some interesting experiments that the students hve done are DNAs, weather forecasting, electircal circuits, robot programming, TV productions, and studies on water shed pollution.  Threr are other technical explorations in the laboratory which students enjoy.

Students are cautioned to be careful with the equipment since there are limited funds for replacement or repair.

Looking ahead the challenges are going to be more difficult  as the students have gained knowledge to do more complex tasks. 
chapter one
Students are studying chaper one in Technology Design and Applications whihc discusses what technology is.  Students are defining key terms, objectives, and an end of chapter test your knowledge.  September 15th students will start the roatation called Orientation.  This rotation will last 7 school days,and after completing the Orientation, studens will atart on the assigned application rotations.
